However, students must be connected to the HHS network. Inappropriate use of devices/technology may result in disciplinary action, loss of privileges, or alternate assignments.

Students may re-illustrate an image or use it as a reference when directed by the teacher. Students may not use any image found on the Internet. If you cannot find an image then you need to develop a new idea. If you have any questions as to whether using an image would be considered plagiarism or not, just ASK! All written work or powerpoint presentations must be written in your own words or quotes and must be cited with references.
Make-Up Work Policy – Students are responsible for collecting make-up work within one day and completing it in a timely manner. The teacher will determine the amount of time students have to turn in make-up work based on how many days the student missed and the difficulty of the assignment. Students must hand in all make-up work directly to the teacher in order to receive full credit. The teacher will be available before or after school for tutoring and/or make-up tests. If a student has an unexcused absence, they will follow the late/missed assignment procedures.
Late/Missed Assignments – All assignments will be due at the beginning of class on the due date unless otherwise noted by the teacher. Any work turned in after that time will be considered late and will not receive full credit. Each day an assignment is late it will be reduced one letter grade. If the assignment has not been received within five days, the result will be a zero.Students with excused absences will follow the make-up work policy for completing missed assignments.
Resubmissions - After an artwork is graded and critiqued, students will have a chance to resubmit an improved work for a higher grade. This policy will only apply if the student turned in their work by the due date.
