Course Information
Art I provides students with a strong foundation in the fundamental theories, design principles, techniques and history of Arts. Students will work in drawing, painting, ceramics, printmaking and sculpture to develop a working knowledge that is essential in developing critical thinking and problem solving skills. A study of major artists and art movements, as well as art criticism and evaluation, will be emphasized in this course.
